ORGANIC smoked salmon: sustainable fish farming, outstanding flavour

These organic salmon grow up in a farm far out in the rough Atlantic ocean off the Irish coast: appropriate to the species and close to nature. The farm is stocked with a great deal fewer fish compared to conventional farmed salmon, allowing them considerably more space for swimming. This is good for the animal welfare and results in firmer muscle flesh. Genetically modified feed and chemical additives are absolutely taboo.

We refine the fish at our plant in Neuenburg, Germany: Here the organic fillets are dry-cured by hand and - following a drying and maturing period - are traditionally cold-smoked over native wood.

Made of fresh organic Irish raw product: dry hand-cured, according to traditional method
cold-smoked over locally supplied precious wood, belly flap, dark meat and skin removed. Naturland certified.
